GM Wizards,
Welcome to the second issue of Dune Digest
Every week, we share dashboards, data, and stories right here in your inbox.
First, some news: Dune now integrates with Binance Smart Chain!
We can’t wait to see some amazing dashboards on BSC projects! Now, let’s unpack the week’s data gems.
Aping into sustainability with @Cujowolf’s Klima DAO dashboard
Klima DAO is a protocol aiming to accelerate the price appreciation of carbon assets.
Every $KLIMA token is backed by 1 ton of verified, tokenized carbon reduction from “reputable carbon markets”.
These carbon credits are “sucked off the market” and bonded into the system, creating new $KLIMA which holders can stake.
The project has enjoyed some buzz over the past week.
The price has really been all over the place, currently sitting at $2,827.75
The on-chain metrics tell a clear story though, which we can see thanks to @Cujowolf who put together an excellent Dune dashboard.
The # of Klima holders grew rapidly from under 6k to over 16k in just 4 days.
95% of Klima has also already been staked.
And check out these interesting treasury figures:
LPs are doing well too, with more than almost $2 million in fees generated already.
It’s certainly interesting to see a DeFi project with ambitions (and a plausible plan) to tackle “real world” challenges.
If you want to learn more and make up your own mind - we recommend starting off with their Manifesto and a deeper dive into @Cujowolf’s great dashboard.
@rantum explores Forefront Social Token Tracker
FF Social Tracker is a digital asset designed to track the performance of social tokens. @rantum investigated the token with a great dashboard.
Currently it’s tracking $AGLD, $BANK, $FF, $FWB, $RLY, $WHALE & $ROBOT
The token has seen an 76.75% change over the last 90 days. It kicked off July at $84.10 and hit an ATH of $554.74 in early September before some sideways action to the current price of $404.84.
It seeks to track legitimate projects and communities with active usage and development.
Check out the weighting of tracked tokens:
If you’re interested in social tokens then it’s worth checking out. FF also has some nice educational resources on the site.
@KARTOD educates on AAVE AIPs
Aave Improvement Proposals (AIPs) are binding, on-chain governance proposals. They often concern adding new tokens, updating risk parameters, adding new liquidity markets - and more.
Aave V2's governance model introduced some important changes. You can read about them here.
Even better, check out @KARTOD's new dashboard.
We can select specific AIPs from a drop-down list, and see the breakdown of:
Aave V2 also introduced vote delegation. You can see the top 20 addresses by delegated voting power in this neat visualization:
The dashboard has a lot of written explanations of how AIPs and Aave V2 governance works. Give it a browse if you want a great overview.
UNS Breakdown by @aquiladev
Unstoppable Name Service (UNS) is a crypto-native domain registrar that issues domain names as ERC-721 tokens. Read about how it works in detail here.
@aquiladev spun up a great Dune dashboard earlier this week giving us an overview of the platform.
We can see a total of 336,8113 names created, currently held by 76,999 owners
.crypto is the most popular at 308,675, trailed by .nft, .x, .wallet, .bitcoin and several more.
Check out the dashboard for more visualizations of gas, daily transactions, and top holders!
@lando looks at Cityroots
Cityroots (whitepaper) is an NFT project & community aiming to build:
“A safe, moral, and economically stimulated place to gather, laugh, teach and grow”
The project launched with 8000 “Elder Tree Soul” NFTs, and @lando made a great dashboard this week showing:
125 total Opensea sales at a floor of .058 ETH
Check out this neat dashboard.
@hildobby Explores the Wierd World of $OHGEEZ
LevX is a Sushi dev also working on several other projects like Sharkpunks, Maidcoin, BearFi & levx.io.
LevX launched a token, $OHGEEZ, which Dune Wizard @hildobby created a dashboard for.
If you want to learn about this project, check it out for a ton of great stats.
More Excellent Dashboards:
Here are the other dashboards that caught our eye this week:
That’s it for this issue. Thanks to all the wizards for the dashboards. We’re enjoying beautiful Lisbon, if you’re here come and say hi!
Otherwise, have a great weekend and see you next Thursday.
In the meantime, dive in and create your own dashboards (or fork existing ones), and hang out with us on Twitter and Discord.
